I still remember that day when I first enter to senior high school. I was so panic and nervous. But I soon get used to the life in here. Now I ‘m going to graduate, and I want to give some advice to the fresh people.

First, be concentrate in every class. Make sure that you really understand what teacher is saying instead of only taking notes with your brain didn’t storming. It‘ll save your time from review it again, and you can do want you want. And it also will be so helpful when you’re going to prepare for the big exam, because the knowledge had already deeply rooted in your brain. That’s the reason why you can review it so easily.

Second, reading is a friend that taking you to a wider and larger world and also increase your world view. Reading is not only about textbook but more important in something else. You can get so much vibration from reading and become a learned person. You’ll need it because all university wants is a person who can think over things.

Third, work hard and play hard. Join an association and sweating heartily. If you can find a balance point on school work and leisure time, I’m sure that you’ll have a splendid and happy senior high school life.

So, walking forward confidently, use positive attitude toward your new life and always try you best. Then you’ll have a perfect high school life just like me!

There are lots of leader in history. Like Achilles, Churchill and Lincoln. But what’s the special personality make them different from others? There are some characters below.

     First, a good leader should have positive attitude toward life. They will not easily knock down by frustrations and can always cheer people up. Like Franklin D. Roosevelt, who saved America from big economy crash, always looks at the bright side of things so that he can faces problems calmly.

     Second, they should be very attentive in order to notice some clue of potential crisis and know what his follower really want and satisfied most of them. A successful leader must have an ability to read citizen’s mind and give them what they want instead of extend power.

     Third, a self-demended personality leads to a good leader for sure. Dislike some politician in Taiwan, do not have many scandal is an essential condition of leadership. Someone who can control his/her emotion calmly can absolutely concentrate on his work and give his country a prosperous distant view.

     To sum up those point of view, the most important thing to be a good leader is to be a innocent and un greed person. It goes without saying that”Power tends to corrupt, absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Lots of leader failed because of the temptation of power. But if you can do all of above, you can be a good leader undoubtedly.

       Have you ever seen a movie that influent you so much or make you cry? A good movie can definitly impress you and change your life.

       ”A.I.” is the best movie that I have ever seen. The story is so touching that it makes me cry. The little robot that really want to be a real human and win his mother’s love. He works so hard to find blue fairy because rumor has it that if you find blue fairy she will make your dream come true.

       And the issue about robots attracts the attention from all over the world because it might happen one day. I always very curious about the problem that humans will face in future and I also believe that robots will replace the floor human stands. In  ”A.I.”, people treat robots like a toy to human and make fun of them. In the furute, if robots decide to attack humans, it’ll be the end of human’s generation. That’s the question that we should really think about.

       Many ancient king had search for medicine to be immortal, but the little robot in ”A.I.” have the ability to avoid death didn’t live a happy life. He needs to face his parents died and one day everyone will leave him. Finally he will be alone . I’ve thinking about this question and

Dear Eve,

      Recently I read a lot of books to release my pressure. I’ve started my plan of learning for two weeks and felt so exhausted. I allowed myself to be lazy sometimes, but after that I feel so guilty and afraid of falling behind from others. I can’t focus on my study when people playing and laughing outside and it’s also hard to review and to learn new things at the same time. Can you give me some advice? What will you do if you are faced with the problem like this?

      The big test is coming very soon. Ionly have six months to prepare for it, but I’m still really confused and I don’t even set a goal for myself! It’s so embrassed for me to ask some help from you because Ishould know what I want clearly. Ihope this problem won’t last for too long, or i’ll be so dead.

Food for thought: Intellectual activities make people eat more than when just resting, according to a study that sheds new light on brain food.

This finding might also help explain the obesity epidemic of an increasingly sedentary society in which people still have to think now and then.

Researchers split 14 university student volunteers into three groups for a 45-minute session of either relaxing in a sitting position, reading and summarizing a text, or completing a series of memory, attention, and vigilance tests on the computer.

The scientists had determined beforehand that the thinking sessions consumed only three calories more than resting. After the sessions, the participants were invited to eat as much as they pleased.

Though the study involved a very small number of participants, the results were stark.

The students who had done the computer tests downed 253 more calories, or 29.4 percent more than the couch potatoes. Those who had summarized a text consumed 203 more calories than the resting group.

Blood samples taken before, during, and after revealed that intellectual work causes much bigger fluctuations in glucose levels than rest periods, perhaps owing to the stress of thinking.

The researchers figure the body reacts to these fluctuations by demanding food to restore glucose, a sugar that is the brain’s fuel . Glucose is converted by the body from carbohydrates and is supplied to the brain via the bloodstream. The brain cannot make glucose and so needs a constant supply. Brain cells need twice as much energy as other cells in the body.

Without exercise to balance the added intake, however, such “brain food” is probably not smart. Various studies in animals have shown that consuming fewer calories overall leads to sharper brains and longer life , and most researchers agree that the findings apply, in general, to humans.

And, of course, eating more can make you fat. 

“Caloric overcompensation following intellectual work, combined with the fact that we are less physically active when doing intellectual tasks, could contribute to the obesity epidemic currently observed in industrialized countries,” said lead researcher Jean-Philippe Chaput at Laval University in Quebec City, Canada. “This is a factor that should not be ignored, considering that more and more people hold jobs of an intellectual nature,” the researcher concluded.

     I agree that the Internet has had nagative effects on our civilization. The following reason will support my opinion.

      First, the Internet help spread the inappropriate information like pornographyand violence. The exposed to these information will increase the crime rate in the society. Some of them will imitate the behavior just as what they find on the Internet. There might appear more and more robbers and rapists.

       Second, lots of people shopping on the internet, use transform accounts to pay the bills. Evildoer will use these weakness to defraud. They acan also do some illegal deal, like using the Internet bank to steal national secret like hackers do. Those things will cause the serious danger to our country.

      Third,if you indulge yourdelf in the Internet too much, you’ll lose reality. Even more, you’ll lose your job,friends,family,and health. Several months ago, news said that there was a teenager who played online game about three days in Internet cafe. Suddenly he died when he get off the chair. Use Internet carefully. You can’t imagine the consequence that it bring you.

     Conclude all the reasons above, Internet really brings negative effects on our civilization. You may receive some information that makes you feel disgusting through email, or you might be cheated and lose your money and personal information and if you use it too usual, you may lose everthing you have.

      Next time when you turn on the computer, try to control the time and be more cautious.

    When I was a teenager,I’m a selfish person.I always thought about my ownbenefit rather than other people’s feeling.I thought that everything is there for me to enjoy.

   One day, I had a serious fight with my mom.I said a lot of penetrating words to her and shouted at her. I thought that she was very wordy and nosy about my privacy. After this fight, mom and I didn’t talk to each other for a week.But I didn’t saw it as a warning, I felt free and liberated at that time.Neddless to say, I wouldn’t apologize to her.

      Few days later, my mom bump intoa car and was sent to the hospital immediatly. Dad didn’t tell me this until Iwas back home from school. It goes without saying that I was shocked by this shocking accident,I felt dizzy and almost fainted.

       Suddenly I realize that how important mom means to me. I didn’t treasure her love but did everything to hurt her. I felt so regreted about what I’ve done.

       After a few weeks, my mom was discharges from hospital and slowly recovering. I found that she was not as strong as I thought before. She needed me to help her with a lot of things. Suddenly, I was comprehend that my mom was also a normal person, not Gods.

        So I started to take over some housework, carry heavy things for her, and do many things I wouldn.t do before this accident. Taccomplish my change realistic, I tried to accept and listen to her thought and feelings, like chatting with her,company her and give her some advice on her business problem.To take account of her when she feel tired after a full-day work. When she preaches me and I don’t agree with her, I’ll communicate with her instead of talk back in defiance at her. Because of my change , my mom and I become each other’s best friend. We’ll go shopping and watch TV series together, disscuss problems we have, including my love problem.

     As a result of this event, I realize the importance about family, and even more cherish everything I possess than before. Chinese proverbs go,”Treasure what you own” Don’t do something that you’ll regret! That’s the lesson that I’ve learned.

     She is a very creative person. She wants to create an astonishing paintings that is published in magazines or exhibited in, just like those of Picasse. Also to she reads the latest about the famous artists in recent years gather information to improve herself. She works so hard on it.

      Because of these reasons, I think she can be a good artist. She likes to paint, very creative and works so hard to pursue the life like artist. Needless to say, she’ll do a great job about it!

       Parents and friends are the important people to me.The first are my parents.When I was a child, they took care of me and kept me from being hurt.I had a smooth and happy childhood.The second are my friends.Because  of their company,I no longer feel lonely again.In our daily life,we alwas discuss homework and help each other solve the problem on schoolwork.I can’t imagine how the world without them would be like.They’re not only my life-savers but also gave me a big hand through the hard time. They really play a big role in my life!
